Yoga for Kids
Kids learn control of mind & body while having FUN! Children will participate in mindful movement, breathing activities and sharing circles. Activities develop character, athleticism, creativity and emotional balance.

Self-Defense/Karate
This is a self-defense based system designed to
give students quick and simple techniques for
protecting themselves and others. Classes are
designed for kids, adults and families who
want to have an activity to participate in
together. They will focus on basic martial arts
skills and concepts including: awareness, balance,
form, power, exercise, confidence, character
and self-discipline. Upon participating in
these classes, students should expect to develop
and improve psychomotor skill, methods
for self-defense, improve upon basic empty
hand skills, and feel more confident and in

American Red-Cross Babysitting
Girls and Boys Welcome!
Earn your American Red Cross Baby-sitting
Certification. This course will
increase your confidence level in how to
deal with many situations that may arise
on any baby-sitting job. This fun, interactive
course teaches first aid and safety
skills to prevent and respond to emergencies,
how to choose safe and age appropriate
toys and games, perform basic care
routines like diapering, feeding and dressing,
how to handle bedtime issues, prepare
simple meals, and interview for
babysitting jobs. Great class for all kids,
even those who may not baby-sit! Cost of
class includes Baby-sitter’s Training
Handbook.
Oct. 1st 4-8pm & Oct. 2nd 9-3pm
Must be 11 years or older by end of class.

Waltz, Tango and Rumba. Casual clothing

Ballroom Instructor Biography:
Ms. Helaina Metke is a graduate of UW
Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts
Dance Program. She has had years of
experience studying, teaching, and choreographing
dance throughout Southeastern
Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. She has
studied under many experienced and
sought after teachers in the dance world
including: Andrea Tykson, Simone Ferro,
Luc Vanier, Janet Lilly, Elizabeth
Johnson, Susan Perl and Kris World-Heil.
Helaina enjoys sharing her passion for
dance and is highly skilled in a wide variety
of dance styles that include: Ballet,
Modern, Ballroom, Jazz, Tap, African,
Hip-Hop and Lyrical.
